Man Arrested For Assaulting Two Girls At School

DETROIT'S EAST SIDE -- A registered sex offender arrested Wednesday inside Clark Elementary school will face a judge Saturday on charges related to what police are calling an attack on two 11 year-old girls. The man allegedly followed the first girl into the school, asking her how old she was and grabbing her arm. The girl pulled away and the man grabbed a second girl before school security personnel saw what was happening and moved in to detain the man until Detroit Police arrived

Police: 1 Dead, 3 Hurt After Shooting

DETROIT -- One man died and three people, including a toddler, were hurt in a shooting on DetroitÂ’s West Side, police said. It happened near Tireman Avenue and Central Street Thursday evening. Police said shots were fired at the car and the driver lost control and plowed at full speed into a vacant Laundromat.

Brawl Breaks Out Inside Bridal Shop

Three men are due in court this week on assault charges involving a brawl inside a bridal shop. The incident happened at the First Lady Prom and Bridal on Southfield Road in Lathrup Village. It began as a confrontation between a bride-to-be and a store employee that eventually got out of hand, store owner Hekmat Putruss told Local 4.
